Miller Pond is an infertile water and home to largemouth bass, chain pickerel, bluegill, pumpkinseed, brown bullhead,
and yellow perch. Golden shiner are the only forage species.
Miller Pond is part of
the Brood Stock Lakes Program. All other species of fish are
managed under Commonwealth
Inland Waters regulations.
BOATING
Boating at Miller Pond is limited to boats powered by electric motors and un-powered boats. There is a surfaced
launch ramp and associated parking facilities.
Un-powered boats may be moored at the lake in accordance with Commission
property regulations. To be used at the lake, boats must be registered or
have a valid launch permit (permits are issued by the Commission or
PA Dept. of Conservation and Natural Resources). |
