| FISHING
Lily Lake is managed under the Commission's Big Bass program.
It is designated as an Approved Trout Waters Open to Year-Round Fishing.
Other than these programs, statewide regulations for
Commonwealth Inland Waters apply for
all other species of fish. The Commission also stocks the lake with northern pike fingerling to supplement
the warmwater species found in the lake.
Fish
habitat structures have been placed in the lake over the years as part of the Commission's Cooperative Fish
Habitat Improvement Program.
BOATING
Boats with greater than 60 horsepower engines or greater than 18 feet in length are prohibited. Boats are limited
to slow, minimum height swell speed except those operating within the buoyed high speed operating zone, between noon
and sunset between the Saturday preceding Memorial Day and September 30.
There is a surfaced launch ramp and associated parking facilities.
Un-powered boats may be moored at the lake in accordance with Commission
property regulations. To be used at the lake, boats must be registered or
have a valid launch permit (permits are issued by the Commission or
PA Dept. of Conservation and Natural Resources). |
