2002 Final Counts: Conowingo East, Conowingo West, Holtwood and York Haven ceased operations for the 2002 season on June 8. Safe Harbor stopped on June 15. Final counts:
  • Conowingo East - a total of 108,001 shad passed, versus 193,574 in 2001.
  • Conowingo West - a total of 9,347, versus 10,940 in 2001.
  • Holtwood - a total of 17,522, versus 109,976 in 2001.
  • Safe Harbor - a total of 11,705 versus 89,816 in 2001.
  • York Haven - a total of 1,525 versus 16,200 in 2001.
