| 2010 |
| Shad operations for the Susquahanna River in 2010 got underway April 5 at Conowingo. The 1st American shad to pass through the fish-lift this season was on April 7 (1st of 2009 passed April 19). Fish-way operations begin when water temperatures are around 50°F, which encourages upstream shad movement. Shad counts concluded for 2010 with the final day of operation at York Haven on June 13.
