| Harrisburg, PA – Throughout the Commonwealth, amphibians and reptiles are everywhere from forests to urban areas. Have you ever wondered what turtles, snakes, salamanders, lizards, frogs and toads live in Pennsylvania? Would you like to see these creatures, live? Well, the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission (PFBC) has a program for you! Learn about these fascinating creatures as you rotate through for four stations where PFBC biologists will give brief presentations with live specimens. Other non-game species will also be on display. As an added bonus, each person who attends this FREE event will receive a free copy of PFBC’s Pennsylvania Amphibians and Reptiles book (a $10 value).
The program will be held on Monday evening, July 16 at Little Buffalo State Park at the park’s East Day Use Area. Pre-registration is required and will be accepted on the Commission’s website until July 11, 2012. Registration attendance numbers are limited. To pre-register and for more information, visit www.fishandboat.com and select “Calendar of Events.”
