Brook trout caught by Steve Cook on Yellow Creek in Bedford County on December 30, 2011. The brookie was 23.5 inches long and weighed 7 lbs. 14 oz. It was caught on a streamer fly (sculpin pattern) and released unharmed since it was caught in a “catch and release” section. Steve submitted the catch to our Angler Award program, turns out it was the Biggest Fish in PA for brook trout. |

Timothy C. Collins from Central City, PA caught this trophy brown trout from the Raystown Lake tailrace on February 29. He was targeting musky with a plug and tube combo on the line. The fish weighed in at 14 pounds, 8 ounces, and was just over 30 inches long. |
