Brady Run Lake

Brady Run Lake is a small county owned lake located in Beaver County. This 28-acre lake is stocked with trout both pre-season and in-season. Largemouth bass in this lake are managed under the Big Bass Program with a 15-inch size limit and a four fish per day creel limit from June 14 to December 31 (see page 27 in your 2003 Summary Book). On the night of May 19, 2003 Fisheries Management Area One sampled the bass population to monitor changes in the number and size of bass in Brady Run Lake. Three electrofishing runs were conducted covering most of the shoreline. A total of 94 bass were captured ranging in size from 95 mm (3.75 inches) to 405 mm (16 inches). Only two bass greater than 15 inches were captured. The catch of bass over 300 mm (11.8 inches) is up compared to the last two sample years however the overall catch is down.
