BIOLOGIST REPORT
Presque Isle Bay
Commission biologists conduected a night electrofishing survey at at Presque Isle Bay, Erie County on June 9 and June 10 to monitor changes in the black bass populations. Presque Isle Bay bass are managed under the Commission's Big Bass Program with a 15 inch minimum size limit.
Some of the best catches were in "Marina Lake" in weed beds in 3 to 8 feet of water. Largemouth bass ranged in size from 3 inches to over 18 inches.
