| Interactive Maps |
 |
 |
| "Map" only begins to describe what our interactive maps can do – they virtually serve as a complete guide for anglers and boaters for their respective topics. Pages generally start with a statewide map with options to zoom to areas of interest geographically or by feature. We started with our data and layered it on top of Google Maps, so you get the best of both worlds – invaluable fishing & boating information with all the functionality provided by Google (driving directions, street maps, aerial photography, etc.). | We also have a GIS application from 2005 that identifies waters
that contain particular species of fish. Pages also contain links to more information for the species selected.
Simply choose which fish/category (listed below) you would like to start with.
For warm/coolwater species, once within the GIS page, other species can be added to the base map by selecting the
check-boxes in right column. Be sure to select the "info" button in the left column to get detailed information
about waters. |

| Important Note to Anglers: Many waters in Pennsylvania are on private
property, the listing or mapping of waters by the Fish and Boat Commission does not guarantee public access. Always
obtain permission to fish on private property. |
